Missile command 2 screenshots

head-to-head Missile Command !

So cool!

I guess it can only be played correctly in a cocktail or an island-type cabinet.

Only ONE missile base?

very neat Scott

Wow I never even knew this existed! I am gonna have to get out to California Extreme one of these years. AtariScott, That's awesome that you bring rare games for the world to enjoy!

So there was going to be a Missile Command 2 and it was a head to head game? I never knew that. It sounds like fun.

Does it have a special board with two trackball inputs? This is a board that needs to be reproduced. Wouldn't it be cool if you could buy a new MC 2. Or build your own with a new board set.

It sounds like if you destroy all of your incoming missiles, then you can help the other player with his. I would love to play this. :)

Yes, it's a prototype. Yes, it was designed to be played in a Cocktail cabinet. Yes, there is only one base to shoot from. Yes, you can attack the second players cities (you can also help them defend them too). No, there is no chance of a ROM 'dump'. I will post some video up this weekend.

Yeah, if I had the only known copy of this or Crazy Otto or any other similar board then I totally would hoard the code as well. I'd protect it like Fort Knox!

I once had a rare Prototype that was one of five known.
Sold it for about $1000, This is a one of one. Would be much more valuable.!

Yes, it would be hard to sell, if I owned it, the price would have to be just right.

Thanks for posting the photos!
Can I post the photos on my blog, if I post credits to you?

In the case of Missile Command 2, this effort has been in the works over 10 years and I have documented email proof of this. I think even getting it to CAX is pretty nice on his part.

I think I would put armed guards on each side of the machine.
Just incase someone thinks about stealing the PCB!!!
