I currently have a jamma board and a monitor that was torn out of a cab and a giant pile of wires, i wired up as much as i could to test it and see if either work before i wire them and put them in the cab i just restored.

I get no power and im sure i missed something, but what is the minimum you need to run a jamma board and monitor, coindoors, cps etc so i can just make sure it works.

Thanks guys

The minimum you will need is the PCB (JAMMA), the wiring harness, monitor, speaker, joystick and buttons (or just some momentary switches), and the power supply.

You said that you don't have power, does that mean you don't have a power supply? If you have just a PCB, monitor, harness, speaker, and power supply you can wire those things up and verify sound and video on your game.

That is the bare minimum you can build.

Brian.
