Mini XY games

Hey everyone that is following my thread on the mini asteroids and XY monitors. I am leaving this forum due to jealous individuals that have nothing better to do then cause problems and make it difficult to progress the hobby. Please join my Facebook page

Did not notice this original thread when it was started. Did not read the whole thread, but a stand alone drop in compatible asteroids or asteroids deluxe pcb would be a nice if that was an option.

Sorry to hear your leaving. I would say reconsider leaving forever and just drop by to post abut the products you make. They sound like they could be interesting.

Great another asset to the KLOV forums leaving before he even has 200 posts. Well done everyone! What a waste, sorry to see you leave and sorry to hear you have problems here.

why do people post FB links here that are only visible if you have a FB account?

especially those wanting to engage potential customers.

Honestly... I can't even believe he made it anywhere near 200 posts. He got called out for wanting to rip off Scott's Asteroids multi and he flipped out with personal attacks: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=401165 . Clearly he's missing a few screws to hold himself together... can't fault anyone at KLOV for that.

Didn't see that, sorry. I just have seen so many leave KLOV so was quick to jump...

I joined the FB group, then I read the other thread, then I left the FB group.

Bad form, Allelectronics...

How can you absolutely know that he was going to rip something off? I did read the thread.

How many people here have repaired a two-sided board? With only a few of these boards out there, why else do you need pictures?

I didn't know for sure when I made the post... but there aren't many other reasons to want clear pictures of the front and back of a board. I just said that none of us are likely to post pics if he's wanting them to rip off the design. And then he flipped out, and made a lame excuse (broken traces are easy to figure out where they go), proving guilt.

After the fact, another member messaged and explained exactly what the guy was trying to rip off.

I suppose you cannot know, though, if he wanted to repair his board, he would have posted a picture instead of being abusive with all. Board aside, he seems like a hugely unpleasant person and likely not any sort of asset to the community.

I don't know what the other member messaged about it, but as I read the thread my first question was was how/why could he have broken a trace on a multi kit? You break a trace when you remove parts, and there aren't many good reasons to disassemble something like that if you aren't trying to futz with it/reverse engineer it. I mean, there could be a legit reason, like replacing a bad socket or something, but that seems unlikely. So I think there were good reasons for you guys to inquire about it, and his responses went so bad so fast that his tone did more to answer the question than his actual answer.

dealing with highly technical people, sometimes there is an inherent insecurity that goes with it.
i read it over and to me it looked like a classic case of the question triggered a sense of "rejection" and sometimes people don't have the best coping mechanism for dealing with that emotion. the ego can fight back aggressively when it feels rejection. looks like the cat came out fightin'
Some people aren't cut out for online communication, and some shouldn't be on forums.

If he really wanted to rip it off, why wouldn't you just buy a kit somewhere on line. he is obviously very intelligent and knows how to use resources...

whos the bigger asshole this guy or the people who keep trying to sell the kit for 5 times what they are worth because " he wont make them anymore"
