I used a Ms. Pacman plug n play 5 in 1 for this. and a portable lcd tv screen. It has Mappy, galaga, ms.pacman, xevious, and pole position. I wired the plug n play to a spare charger, and had the artwork printed at a ups store for just a few bucks. Got the idea from http://melarky.com/?page_id=578

Why isn't that just the cutest thing. ;-)

Nice, I've been think of doing one lately. But, I need to finish one thing at a time!

Very nice!

The starting point for my MAME cabinet began in much the same way. The cabinet I converted to MAME was a 3/5th size Galaga cabinet that had the same plug and play wired up to arcade controls, a faux spinner for joystick twist steering (Pole Position), hardwired AC adapter, TV speaker rewired to a speaker installed behind the marquee over the screen and so forth. They seem to have been professionally made and in addition to the Galaga I took home (for fixing the cabinets) there was a similar Pac-Man and another Galaga.
