I am about ready to begin the process of restoring a Capcom Mini Cute. The cab is all metal so I am assuming it would be best to have the body powder coated. That said, there are some metal air grills in the back of the cab that I am afraid would not survive the heat treatment done at the start of the powder coat process. In addition, does anyone know how to remove the black speaker grills on the front of the cab (are they snapped in or glued in)? Any help from someone who has restored one of these awesome units would be great.

Thanks much - D44

Take it to a powder coater and have them media blast it and paint it. The process is low heat, about 250 degrees. I had the air vents on my midway cocktail sandblasted and powder coated and they came out great.
