NEW mini Centipede arcade toys - Kickstarter

I prefer my "big boy" centipede.

But I do like the key chain. LOL

"The spectacular Centipede arcade cabinet art work is reproduced by heat transfer, and high quality vinyl overlays."

Escape Pod?

so for about what I paid for my actual working centipede I can get a super cool keychain and 2 mini ones and most likely some form of carpal tunnel from trying to play the stupid thing?

well shit.. throw in a pizza and you can sign me on up.

All these kickstarter things remind me of the sham wow guy.

Almost 400 people had nothing better to do with $90 than buy this.

Who are these people and what can I sell them?

This.

Call me captain cynical, but am I the only one who thinks this will be garbage? It seems today's Atari are prepared to whore their name onto anything.

The photo of the guy pushing the coin door make the thing look really cheap and tacky, sticker not sitting right, wrinkles on the CPO, it looks really terrible in that shot.

If you are buying this toy under the impression it's a smaller replacement for a 300 pound arcade, you're not being cynical, it's delusional.

This is a toy decoration... I don't buy star wars or super hero statues but I want one of these.

People do indeed love crap but I don't know how anyone could look at that scale replica and think it is crap.

Everything done to scale with a working trackball. Nothing but awesome. Plus, with the success of it more and more cabinets will be made. Very cool.

Crap may be a bit harsh but for $160 retail??

I dunno to each his own

Some people think a $1 piece of plastic from 1977 shaped like Darth Vader is worth $5k also.
