Milwaukee Super Auction Nov 14 2009 "Whos Rollin?"

Sucks for me - I finally have the room, but im out of the loop on the Milwaukee auctions now. :001_ssad:
Hopefully I can find some around this area.
Have fun guys! Ill miss seeing the usual faces.

Planning on heading to the Milwaukee auction from Naperville with my boys (14 and 10). I've been to 5 or 6 of these now and always come home with some fun projects. Last time I ended up buying a crane machine (wife and 10 year old with me that time so the pressure was on from them). It ended up being a great deal on a fun machine that adds some variety to the gameroom. Every kid that goes down there wants to play that damn crane game. Not sure what I'm looking for this weekend but I'll know it when I see it. I'm the tall guy with the Pepsi hat.

Franklin Park being maybe 30 minutes drive or the Milwaukee 2 hour drive?Anyone have any opinions on which will be better and worth my time.I will google Franklin Park auction to get some info, but what you guys think? The good thing is if I go to F.P. I can always swing by the St. Charles one as its not to far from the house.Any info would be great and I will let yall know my outfit later as this is strictly determined by whats on top of my shirt drawer.TTYL,

Matt

Matt...FYI, here's the link to the Franklin Park auction on Saturday:

Another name so close to me (Naperville).i will let yall know what I'm wearing to the auction but it still depends on what ascends to the top of my dresser drawer that morning.

That's funny. I grew up in Naperville, moved around a bunch all over the country after college, and now live outside Milwaukee.

I'll be at the Milwaukee auction on Saturday, although my wife has already reminded my like 5 times that the arcade account is depleted at this point. Looks like I'll be bargain shopping the dead row at the auction...

Dont wanna miss this

Ok so I picked up a 4player WrestleFest PCB tonite from a fellow KLOV'r.Gf also reminds me that arcade account is nill.So to drive up to Milwaukee to look for vertical, joysticks, and helluva deal seems like a waste.Anyone need a lift, anyone need a partner, anyone need a reason to go_Ohh and did I mention I told the GF/BOSS I was going to help a fellow Klov'r load a truck.I really wanna go but need some convincing.I am only slightly crazy but arent we all here a little oFf.Shoot me a message.TTYL,

If anyone needs flybacks let me know now..
Take $5 off any listed price since there will be no shipping.

There's going to be a nice, original Burgertime at the auction. I was talking with the seller to try and swing this for next week, but he was dead-set on getting it to auction if I didn't show up by tonight. Oh well...someone is going to get a cool machine.

I was planing on going, but I don't have a truck, or money at this time. And my car is making a funny noise in the front end so I don't feel like driving down to Milwaukee with it. Hopefully this wont be the last one and I will try to make the next one.

I won't be attending again. I'm full up with pretty much everything that I want in my arcade short of a Journey upright. I do need a blue Nintendo cab, but sitting at that dump all day just isn't worth it just to take a shot at a conversion that I may get outbid on. If anyone has one for sale, PM me. I have nothing left to trade, but I do have $$$.

I went to the preview tonight. About 50% of the normal volume as of the time they closed up. Half a dozen classic titles (PacMan, Tron, Missile Command, Burgertime), all working (and a Vanguard that was not working). Then the usual later model stuff (fighters, shooters and drivers). Only about 10 pins, the pinheads are going to be disappointed!

Good amount of dart machines, pool tables, cherry master type machines if you are into that stuff.

It sucked, I'm home already. That John fellow was there getting prices so hopefully he'll post them, he usually does on RGVAC

Also home. I didn't stay very long. I have to agree with Rcade, it sucked. There were about 3 cabs I was actually interested in, but they would all need more work that I'm willing to put into them right now. It seemed like there wasn't a lot of selection as the last couple times I've been there. Hopefully the next one will be bigger and better!
