I dont know much about these, not my strong point. Everything seems to work ok other than it wont pay out the small payouts. It appears to all be working correctly. I am attaching some pics for reference. Not sure what to take pictures of. :). Here is a video of it turning. Happened to be a pay line so can see what it does.

Have you tried setting up a pay? Just stick something in the fan to keep it from spinning. Insert a coin and pull the handle. The reels will then be free. Line them up to cherry---cherry---anything
Keep the reels stable and release the fan. It will freespin then the cycle will continue and the reels will stop in a win position.
Something doesn't sound right either during the cycle; there's a part rubbing where it shouldn't be.
In a lot of cases, the issue is your coin slide stack located at the bottom (your second photo) just before the payout opening to the tray.
I've repaired numerous mechanical machines but if this gets beyond my knowledge, I'll send you over to another forum. :)

I did do that on setting up a pay. Same result. It just so happened that when I did that spin it did two cherries which should have been a pay and as you could see nothing happened.

If you can set that up again. Cycle the machine, then carefully flip the mechanism on the side and look at the payout hole. Is it obstructed by a slide? In many cases, it's just gunk keep them from opening, many times caused by previous owners trying to lubricate "stuck" slides.

Ok I'll try that first thing in the morning. If that is the case I will need to take that whole side off to get to those to clean them up and lubricate them right?

I kind of "cheated" with two machines just cleaned the heck out of the bottom with a solvent (WD-40) actually. Then I wiped it as dry as possible and they worked freely. On another, the slide stack was unevenly tightened. Adjusting the tightness on the screws fixed that one. :)

Tried that still wont pay out of the tube. Ill try more cleaning today but I used some electronics cleaner that takes all grease off and evaporates really fast then re oiled it. Really works a lot smoother now but still no pay. It isnt the anti cheat lever...checked that one. :)

Well at least you made progress with the other machine. For the one that isn't paying out - when you set up a payout, are you hearing the click sound of the slides opening? They're spring loaded so there should be a should. If not, then you have to check the "fingers" to see if they are moving aside to allow the slides to spring open. I may have you come over to another forum. I know what's going on but there's another member FAR more knowledgable than me that will chime in and help.

Ok ... this is a great forum but I think we'll do better on the other one.
It's free to become a member ... use your same name if you like! I'll definitely remember it. Post just a general synopsis of the issues and what I had you do, etc. I'll try and reply quickly and get Ed in on the discussion. His user name is 63mini. It would be great if you could post photos of the machine, the slides, and the finger assembly. One thing is the forum won't take photos over 1mb so try to resize them to just under before you post. If you have any trouble posting, I can have you PM them to me and I'll put them up.

Once you join, then post here in "Other Reel Games."

Our site is mostly for newer (70's and up) machines but I'm trying to widen our horizons and get a bigger group for older mechanical machines. Also there is another forum dedicated entirely to mechanical machines. I'd recommend joining that as well. It's FULL of posts with photos. Sadly, many of the members there have passed or are just getting too old. Still it's full of great information. That site is here:
They may ask for a code! If so, send me a PM and I'll find it.
