The trackball in my Millipede has been in dire need of a rebuild for some time now. I had new bearings and shafts from Bob Roberts sitting in my parts bin forever, so I rebuilt the trackball and cleaned it. Before, it was sloppy in all directions, now it spins fine up and down and to the right, but if you spin it towards the left, it's not smooth at all. It seems like the ball is really "loose" when spinning to the left, almost "rocking" in the housing. Could the housing be worn? This doesn't seem to make sense seeing as how it works great in all the other directions. Anyone else ever seen anything like this?

In some of the old trackball cases, there's two e-clips that sit in between the two halves of the housing, that fraction of an inch can make a difference in rolling action. If you only have one installed, maybe try removing it to make everything level again.
