Millipede Price Check

I'd pass. From the look of the rust on the coin door it seems to have been exposed to a lot of moisture which is a deal breaker for me on those cabs unless it is like $50 or something, maybe $150 since that one works. Personally I'd rather pay more for a machine with a much nicer cabinet.

Got someone who has a fully working millepede and it is on my want list.

Wants $250 for it.

here are pics of the worst cosmetic issues with the cab: http://min.us/m4eFJBm7s/1

What do you think? Worth $250?

I think that $250 is a good price and the side art on that is in decent condition (in some places)...that is a easy fix just wood working and T-molding but the game works.
Go for it you still may want to look at other opinions..

Millipedes are a dime a dozen and that doesn't look like a very good one. the trackball is wrong and will probably need a rebuild, new cpo, maybe new marquee (no pic), lots of bondo, new t-molding, artwork isnt that great, looks like there is signs of expansion on the wood, etc...

Unless half the fun for you is in the restoration, I'd wait for a nicer one that you could probably get for the same price

I wouldn't say they are a dime a dozen either. There weren't nearly as many made as Centipedes because it didn't do as well in the arcades since it was way more difficult, but the older I get the more I like the game. Your cab is fair at best, so I would say the $225 isn't too bad for it. Finding one in mint shape for a good price is very difficult so you did pretty well. I was just glad to find one here and luckily I found one in a little better condition.
