Millipede - I need to replace ram, but have another question regarding the board.

I just picked up a millipede upright cabinet. I've been hunting for a millipede for a few months now and stumbled across this one. In fairly decent shape but upon boot, I get 3 beeps..then a break, then it simply repeats the 3 beeps/break loop. Reading the manual, I see it's most likely a RAM chip at location M2. I will go ahead and order this chip and possibly a few more just in case. (I've tested board and AR II voltages and they are fine) The chip markings are 2101A-2. I see a 2101 chip available at coinopchips ( http://www.coinopchips.com/shop/pro...id=31?osCsid=030eeed482abd2a252e4c0da63cf6345 ), am I okay to mix and match manufacturers of these chips? (ie: will replacing the one chip work ok provided there are no other issues?)

EDIT: 2nd question removed, falls under the category of RTFM :)

I also noticed 2 6pin connectors for the video labeled A and B ... they seem to loop through each other...(the G07 in the cabinet has a 6pin pinheader and then the typical 3pin for sync). I've never seen this type of setup before but I'm guessing it has to do with the type of monitor/sync being used. Is this typical in these cabs or is this a "special" treat from the previous owner?

Thanks

Whenever the first RAM shows as bad, there's a reasonable chance it's an address decode/read back problem... They often go bad in groups, so you might as well buy all 8 (with sockets) just to make sure you won't need to order again.

IIRC, the matsushita monitors used in some miliipedes/dig dugs/etc had a different video pinout, so they had 2 different connectors.
