Hey gang

so I have been working on restoring a Millipede for a bit now, but down to the trackball phase and if anyone has any useful suggestions I would love to hear them. The CPO I got was printed by ' a certain company ', and from what I can tell with the measuring tape, is just a little askew- (frustrating) but I was able to make it work. There is no hole in the CPO for the trackball, would anyone have any input on how to cut this correctly to make it look excellent?

Also, after 3 long and irritating trips to Lowe's and Home Depot, I still cannot find the damn carriage bolts to hold the trackball in. 1/4 are too large in circumference and there is nothing smaller available that is an actual carriage bolt. I refuse to just put any old thing in there.

Can any of you help? I'm kinda stuck right now until I can figure out a solution to these problems.

Thanks-

Justin

Bob Roberts sells smaller carriage bolts with smooth heads and anodized. I think I found some at sears hardware once, but they were silver with markings on the head.

I would apply the CPO and then take a fresh razor blade and carefully
cut around the circle using the inside edge as a guide.

Got it looking good now, except the carriage bolts- will try to find a Sears hardware section around here, then maybe a message to bear.
