Both working and in reasonable condition

DK3 is missing back door and a coin slot (I think from the pic)

The deal is the DK3 has a good monitor and the Millipede doesnt.

I have to put a good monitor with the deal or include the original Millipede monitor and the DK3 will include a rebuildable Sanyo.

I plan on putting a multi in this (with about 8 or so games), so I will be using a new monitor anyways.

Good trade? RED cab...

Good trade? RED cab...

Please don't JAMMA a Red DK. Please.

No permanent mods. No outside changes, CP or anything. Just inside and I will keep the wiring and such..

Just use a Nintendo cab to jamma adapter.. no harm. Just want to play all 3 Dks in one cabinet..

There is no Nintendo cab to JAMMA adapter. And, you said 8 games. :) Just saying...

If I put a regular monitor in and noy change any mounting holes.. I could plug a 5v transformer into the outlet at the original power supply and hand make a Jamma adapter. Multi's only need the 5v including the Arcadeshop board..

I know what a red DK cabinet is.. I wouldnt harm it =)

How about an opinion on the trade?? Need to figure this out today.. trade may happen tomorrow!

Personally, it's up to you. Some people hate DK3 and love Millipede. There opinions don't matter If you would prefer to have a DK cab and don't want your Millipede.

It's a nice looking DK3. Red goes well with it, but I know I wouldn't care what color it is, but then again I'd rather have a Millipede.

I dont really like DK3, my 12 year old daughter does.

Nobody plays the Millipede, but If I got a Multipede kit I think it would be more poular.. I like the Millipede cabinet alot

Dk3

My goodness Please leave the game alone if your wanting too make a MI-Game out of it. I'm sure there's a DK that could be used for this other than this one.

Heck the cab being red that could have just be Painted that way recently. Does it have the Numbers on the back too prove that it's a Red cab?

Only way i would do this trade if it was a real Red DK too turn it back that way.

I'm confused... You originally posted that it was a red DK cab, but the pictures you posted are of a red DK 3 ... That's a significant difference, don't you think? Weren't dedicated DK3's red, and the converted ones were orange? I guess the point I'm trying to make is that a red DK is much more rare/sought after than a red DK3...

I thought all DK3s were convert kits?
No?

That looks like a painted cab not an original red cab.
The color is not a dark enough red.
You wouldn't need an adapter to play DK or DKJR since DK3 uses the edge connector harness.
I agree that the DK3's were kits not dedicated cabs.

No?

My understanding is that all DK3s were kits which means that its not considered "rare" to find a red DK3. Most likely it was painted like jimkirk said.

If you find a red DK, then it means you have one of the original Radar Scope cabs that was converted to DK. Only like 2,000 of them were made. Something like that.

The only way to tell what it is would be to look at the tag(s) on the back as others have said. If you post the model number and serial number from the tag(s) on the back we can tell you the vintage cabinet.
