My millipede has a different marquee and cpo than the repros at arcadeshop. Mine are green instead of the bluish green color. Does anyone know why there are different versions? It seems that both colors were used, but I have no idea when they would have switched. I don't really want to spend $80 for repros that are not accurate for my game, but I can't find a source for the one I have.

Thanks

Many Atari CPO's yellowed over time. When I replaced my Millipede CPO, I noticed it was less green that the original one that was on there. Look at an old 720 and you can really see the yellowing, the silver ends up looking gold.

I don't think that is the issue on this one. Look at the cocktail and upright images here on KLOV: http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8698

My upright looks like the upright in the pics, but in the repros, the green color is the same as the color on the cocktail.

The color on mine is definitely green. I looked under one of the buttons; it is not as dark as the rest of it due to dirt build up, but still definitely green.

One of two things happening here..either used different pantone green color for overlays and marquees in later runs or when the green was screened it was screened over another color darkening it a bit...the brighter green is the original cpo and marquee color....I have a HUO millipede and it has the brighter green cpo and marquee color...the arcadeshop has the darker color green...I think arcadeshop just didn't match the green pantone ..or match the original silkscreening process when the repros were done..I've never seen the original cpo or marquee match arcadeshops..

Another error is on the marquee..look at arcadeshops marquee..the boots on the archer are white..they should be yellow like the original. There are several other mistakes...the quality is good if you have nothing else..but seems this one didn't get the final good check before it went to print..IMO
