I've begun collecting some cabaret machines. While researching what games were offered in these cabinets, I've seen hints in a few places talking about a Millipede cabaret machine. (or some kind of European version of the cabinet?)

I didn't think that they ever made these, but the knowledge in this forum holds all kinds of surprises about rare machines. I own a full-size Millipede, and the idea of a cabaret version sounds incredible. I've always admired the Centipede cabaret cabinet too.

I am curious if anybody has any pictures or can point me towards some information about Millipede cabarets. It would be much appreciated. They may not even exist, but I figured I would ask.

Thanks!

I've never seen any production numbers in the Atari lists. Then again, it took awhile for the Centipede cabaret numbers to show up. I really can't recal someone owning one, though, unless it was a conversion.

What cabarets do you have so far?

There was no Millipede cabaret available but the smaller Irish UR version might pass for one. I'll see if I can dig up a pic or info. Probably pretty hard to come by outside of Europe... I could be wrong. Unless you have unlimited space, why not get a Centipede cabaret and install a Braze kit? That is what I have.

So far, I've got a Pac Man, a Galaga and a supposed Galaga that seems to be something else. I also have a lead on getting cabinets for a Ms. Pac and an Atari cabaret.

This all stated because I will be restoring both a Galaga and a Ms. Pac cabaret for a friend of mine as a gift. He is an AMAZING player on both games. He can't fit big machines in his home, so these cabinets are the perfect solution.

Eventually I want to get a Super Pac, a Donkey Kong and a Williams cabaret as well as some others. I just have to keep searching for them. :) I might repro some of them as well since they seem to be so scarce.

if you end up getting the two cabs that im waiting on your email info to send pics to, then you will see quite a few when you pic them up. In our warehouse we currently have approx 30-35 cabarets right now

Wow!! PM sent! I can't wait to take a look at all of those other cabaret cabinets. :)

Back from the dead. Anyone know how tall these Millipede Irish uprights are?

I see the manual says 67" - I was hoping a bit shorter, but I guess these fall somewhere in between a full-size upright and something like the Centipede cabaret, which I think is... 60"?

(Yes, I sorta answered my own question there. Just wondering if I can assume the 67" figure is accurate, or if that's a "recommended clearance" type of figure with some air/ventilation room added on to it. The 67" just seemed tall to me until I realized halfway through my post that it's not a cabaret.)

Not sure how tall the Irish Millipedes are, but I don't think you could properly call them cabaret style. I think they were built as full size cabs.

This one looks pretty big:

Here's a Euro Gravitar. Again, not really a cabaret, but is shorter, I think, than the US ones:

That arcade in the Bond movie was the weirdest one I've ever seen - had something like 30 Centipede cabs in it, and very little else.
