I have logged almost 2300 miles picking up the games I own. Anybody else out there? I have traveled to Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan. In two weeks I wil pull my first two games out of
Ohio!

Lots and lots and lots and lots....

I drove from Tampa to Winston Salem and back, about 1,300 miles, to pick up a Missile Command cockpit years ago.

Shoot I have been lucky. Most of the games I have were local given a few were about an hour plus away. Nothing crazy

I once walked to the end of my driveway for a Wide-Body Mario bros and a Space Duel.

True story.

A fellow KLOV member hand-delivered them to me for free.

Care to share the game in question? :)

Yea it wasn't anything crazy. Just an Upright Dig Dug. It was what I was really wanting.

It works, looks decent (cab needs TLC on the corners, CPO, and T Molding) I probably overpaid, but like I said, it's what I wanted. :)

446 Roundtrip. Not 446 each way, just to clarify.

longest about 100 miles, i worried the whole time it would be sold to others before I could get there.

I used to drive to pick up stuff from djdns in Virginia all of the time and make delivery's to offset the cost. The worst one was driving from DC up 95 to Connecticut to deliver 4 games. It was fun driving thru NYC. Got to the George Washington bridge and there was no one in the toll booth so I went on thru. Traffic was bumper to bumper so there was no getting over into another lane especially with a trailer loaded down. I got a fine in the mail a few weeks later. It said I could pay the normal toll of $8.00 or some ridiculous fine....No brainer there...Lol

I'll never do that again...:)

I've been to Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania to pick up games for myself. Too many damn miles to remember....:D

No idea of the total over the last 4 years but I regularly drive 200-1000 miles round trip and I'm easily over 20,000 miles . Out west it's just normal to drive a lot - I used to drive 1000 miles round trips 3-4 times a year to go see my brother ( I iwe him a visit ) .

No idea on total miles, but my games are from, OH, IN, PA, MI, and TN. Farthest was TN about 480 miles from my house.

My longest drive started on Saturday night and returned on Monday morning.

Wendell, NC -> Monroe, NY -> Middletown, NY -> Salisbury, MD -> Wendell, NC.

Have been to:

Akron, OH
Marietta, GA
New Hope, PA
Philadelphia, PA
Locust Grove VA
Chester VA
Myrtle Beach, SC

I once drove from Lexington, MO to CAX (Santa Clara, CA) pretty much non-stop to reclaim my Space Duel cocktail.
About 1950 miles one way. With only a 30 minute nap in....Wyoming?

I'll never do that again. Ever.
(Unless I'm picking up Bill's SW cockpit!)

Honestly I've used uship to great success. I've paid $100-175 to ship games up the East Coast. Saves me 6-10 hours round trip, gas and tolls. I honestly don't get guys who drive all over creation unless they truly treasure the road trip and do other stuff...
