Hi,

Has anyone else had recent communication from mikesarcade ? ive ordered quite a few times, but the last time customs here sent the parcel back there. I've emailed several times over the last few weeks asking if they received the parcel back and would they be kind enough to just refund the parts (im willing to write off the shipping as i know its not their fault, although not mine either), but never get a reply :|

shame as I used them a few times, always disappointing when a small problem crops up and the seller cant be bothered to even reply to basic emails...

They don't open for another hour I think but anytime I've had a question, I've just called - Quick answer to any question I've had!
 
Spoke with Mike on the phone the other day. We ordered some stuff from each other and I got mine already.

Customs can be weird sometimes. I shipped an ArcadeSD to AUS and it sat in customs with a note needing additional information. Yet I was never contacted (the buyer either) and it sat there for nearly 6 weeks until it was released.
 
it got returned after 8 weeks or so, and me sending off the customs declaration several times and calling them several times to be told "please just wait for the bill". same as always government agencies are never fit for purpose.

I just want to make clear that im not blaming mikesarcade in any way for this, although its not my fault, it is also in no way theirs. I just get annoyed when sellers cant be bothered to respond to email asking simple questions...

i shall email them again later today / tomorrow and hopefully maybe this time i will get a reply.
 
Perhaps your email address is being blocked as spam?

I've had that happen with some US providers when I sent an e-mail, even to my aunt once and she was with a really big provider (AT&T ?)

They seem to sometimes completely block out international providers as soon as they get spam from one email adres of that provider, like shooting a fly with a canon......

I did get some kind of non-delivery report, but it took like days to receive that.....weird stuff.

Mike's a good seller, can't imagine he wouldn't bother replying. He even replied to me when I found a small bug in his very nice online jukebox label creator.
