Hey guys,
I'd like your opinion on something. I'm putting a 60-n-1 board in my Galaga so I obviously needed a 4-way joystick, and since my buttons were weak and the original overlay has some wear I just decided to buy one of Mike's Arcade's complete new panels.
I got it today but I'm kind of disappointed. Here's why:
1. The player 1/2 buttons are white, not yellow.
2. The joystick was mounted in different holes, leaving exposed holes in the CP overlay around the joystick.
3. The metal panel has an extra hole drilled by the fire button. It's covered by the overlay, but you can see/feel the hole through it.
You can see these things in the pic I attached. Do you guys think I'm being too picky? I know sometimes I can be quite anal, but this thing was $125 + $34 shipping so it was pretty pricey. I can't decide whether to just not worry about it or eat the shipping and send it back. What would you do?
Oh, here's the page from Mike's. The pic is small but it doesn't appear to have these problems:

************** UPDATE ****************
I spoke with Kim at Mike's Arcade today. I explained the situation and she knew about the problems I was describing. She said that they got an entire shipment of these in this condition and I wasn't the first to call them back with a complaint. She even knew that the picture on their web site didn't match the product.
She offered to refund the purchase price but only $12 of the $34 shipping charges. I didn't like that since it's a $22 loss on my part plus the expense of shipping it back, so I offered to pay the return shipping if she would issue a full refund. She agreed, so the net is I'll be out the costs to get it back to them, but I suppose I'm okay with that.
She was polite and understood why I wasn't happy with it, so it wasn't a difficult phone conversation. She also said she'll be telling Mike to update the picture on their web site. Overall I'm satisfied with how she handled it, although it certainly would have been easier on everybody if they just described and pictured it accurately to begin with.
