So i've been getting pretty good times in beating a lot of characters but for some reason my time score always resets when the power is turned off. I thought its suppose to keep your record...
If I understand this correctly a PC 10 chip is mostly the same as the corresponding NES home game. Mike Tyson's Punchout on NES uses a password system to save your record so if you can jot down the password you can still be 20-0 or whatever. It's been awhile since I fired up my home copy but that's the only scoring I can remember.
The Playchoice version is different. It can use the NES passwords but also has a battery to store and display the best times for defeating each boxer. You get to input your initials at the beginning of the game just for this purpose.
Thanks guys, i checked & there was no battery in the PCB...I guess last question, what kind of battery do i buy? If the battery dies, will i lose my time score again?
