Its got me thinking.. what do you guys think?

Wow you have some good machines there, I'm not sure how hard it is but Ive been thinking of (or trying to) get a sticker machine for the kids. They love that mess, I figured as a reward something or other..Good luck with your sell.

not selling, thats all thats offered, that i might obtain and make cashola with. He says he makes about 200 a month, that seems pretty low to me but hey who knows.

Oh i guess i read that wrong. Anyways I know the sticker machines as i was saying are always crazy with kids. I would assume the other type, helmet, and whatever other stuff they cram in there still gets sold off. I would also agree that the $200 a month seems low. Most deff with that many machines. I would almost say try if you can and it wont hurt you that bad, if it doesnt go that great you can always resale the machines i would think. It will be interesting to see how much exactly per month ya make if you do...

I'm willing to bet he means $200 per month profit, by the time you figure in supplies, maintenance and gas from driving around ect...

I've known a couple of people that did this, both of them were retiree's and basically just did it for a little extra cash and "something to do".

The price seems a little high to me. I see these 3 head machines listed locally in the DFW are all the time for $50-100 each. Mostly in people garage because they are hard to place out into good locations. It takes alot of door knocking and follow up visits to place these in peoples stores. The only real value to the deal is the machines already placed out on location. They can earn between $50-200 a month, usually closer to $50 unless it is a great location for these smaller machines. What you have to be careful of is if you buy these, will the locations let you keep the machines in there or will they go with someone else or worse, will the guy you buy them from come along and bump you out of what you just bought because he has a better contact with the locations and owners. I would go look at the locations he has and see what the machines and locations look like. How much do you think they will make. What the seller tells you may be bull. Look at it for yourself.
See if there is a bunch of other equipment in there from other operators. You don't want competition inside the same store. How far are they spread out across the city? You can make decent little money on the side one or 2 days a month with 17-30 machines. Be carefull. Get a non compete agreement from the seller. These little machines tend to disapear and right now many stores are closing and you loose the location and sometimes the machine too. I would offer about $100 each for the machines on location and $50 each for the ones not on locations and anything not working is $0 but you get them with the deal. My advice is free so you get what you pay for.

yeah thats why ive been holding back. Im willing to bet im the most interested in the area. i have a old boat im goign to try to trade him.. well see how it goes

ok, but i think he's probably being honest - 200/month profit - for servicing 17 machines? Even if they're all in the same location, that's not much moolah. I'm guessing you'd need to service them twice a month minimum, and i'm betting they're spread out over 3 or 4 locations. How much free time do you have, and what's it worth to you?
Personally, i'd pass.
