Anyone have leads on a reputable shipper with routes from the midwest to southern California? I've already contacted Michelle/Beltmann, just looking for some possible options. Contacted Bob but was told delivery would probably not be until Sep/Oct.

Shipped a Crazy Climber from OH to SoCal using Beltmann a couple weeks ago.

Cost was $730. Delivery was lightning fast. 5 or 6 days.

They did add $200 for a small truck pickup due to the originating address being inaccessible by their normal large truck.

Game arrived safe and sound so was happy nonetheless.

If you use beltmann and pick it up yourself at the hub instead of having them deliver to your house it's cheaper.

Although I'm all for saving a buck on anything, it's mostly about the service. One of the games that needs transport will be the most $$ I've ever dropped on a machine. I asked a follow up about them offering extra wrapping/protection and they did not respond. I did tell them the games were not ready for transport, so maybe they are waiting for me to confirm pickup details with them before discussing that?

That's odd the seller won't wrap and cardboard the machines…

Beltmann does offer blanket wrapping I believe. Have never had any issues with them and have shipped numerous times.

I haven't asked the seller to pack them. I just wanted to be assured by Beltmann that they understood the high value of one of the games. I vaguely recall from one of my earlier shipments the seller asked STI/Beltmann if he could wrap the games himself and they told him no, as they would not be able to verify condition on pickup. If that has changed, and they would accept photos from the seller as proof of condition, I may ask him to do so.

I have had 4 shipments through STI/Beltmann and in one both games arrived damaged (one was minimal, 2x tore out leg levelers). The insurance claim was relatively painless, but for this shipment I'd much prefer zero damage.

Whoa good to know. I've shipped probably 30 times with no issues.. but just a handful of times as a bare cab.

I usually declare much less than the actual value to save a few bucks. Have been lucky I guess.

Most sellers have been willing to wrap with blankets, cardboard & shrink wrap or both

most people no matter who you use want to wrap to verify on their own the condition. it makes everything so much easier on the back end.

if you need it faster you can also call a van line to see if they have someone in the area going west. so many drivers are always ready for a quick pick up. especially if it is an upright game
