Midwest Gaming Classic 2011, who's going?

Just to add as well, in honor of the 10th anniversary, I'm going to be doing my museum area (consoles 1972-1985, vintage computers) up in the style of an early 80's arcade. Main lights out, rope lights on the tables, EL wire on the walls (instead of traditional neon), other light effects, and 80's music blasting. Hope you guys enjoy it.

KLOV'ers are welcome to use the room as a meeting point if you like.

That's awesome! Me likey! :)

I'll probably go on Saturday, I mean it is a rough 3 minute drive down Greenfield and 1 whole turn on Moreland for me :)

Anyone want to try to meet up at a certain time? Who knows KLOV group picture?

About 90% of my time will be in the VGEvo/Retroids area downstairs. We've got a ginormous room. If you want to set up a time to take a pic in there, there will be some arcade machines from Galloping Ghost arcade in the room to pose by. Doc (ghostlord) posts here occasionally as well, so we've got at least two KLOVers in one space. If Marty (martyg) wants to stop by for the pic, that's three. Let me know.

I'll definitely be down there for the after party. During the day I may be to busy this year, with the interviews as well as managing duties (JD and I took over managing the entire wing by us this year, walkie-talkies and all).

Weekend bump!

I'll add that I have indoor warehouse space about 10 minutes from the show that I can store stuff in short term if someone needs a temporary spot for a week or two.

Anyone interested in monitors at the show?
I have a couple 27" tri-res monitors taking up space I can bring out with the rest of my stuff.

What condition are they in, and how much?

I am also looking for Gottlieb system 80(a)(b) project pins!

I'll ask my bosses (FEC owners) if they're going and if I can tag along. If not... probably not. I'm closer than most but I'm hurting for money :(

If anyone has an Addams Family pin that they are selling I am looking for one.

Cab condition is not as important as playfield and minor issues don't scare me much.

The show is a short and resonable drive for me.

I should bring my translight from my LOTR to grab some signatures

I'm planning to go and I'm thinking about bringing 3 games to sell.
For a fellow KLOVer:
G-LOC $275
Bubbles Cocktail $475
Defender Cocktail $450

I can bring them up for someone if it's easier to get them there than from my place in McHenry.

I'll post higher prices for the public, if no one here wants them.

I'll be bringing a Merit Boardwalk conversion with a 27" monitor along with my parking lot deal stuff. No free play mode so I'll have to add hundreds of credits at setup on Fri :)

Once again we will have a 30 some feet of booth space although, since my new job and my brothers kid on the way we had to cut back our arcade count, every year we have brought at least 20 down. We didn't have enough to justify renting a 26' ft truck, so we will be down to 5-8 what ever I can fit in my pick up.

Pins
-Spyhunter $600
-Grand Lizard $1000
-Surf Champ(older wedge head) $400

Arcades
-Generic cab Neo Geo (4 slot) I think my brother wanted $800ish and price includes a 100 n something cart.
-48 or 60 Cocktail i dont remember but I can put a 60 in there as i have some boards somewhere. It is a old frogger converted into a multi $450
-Generic Jamma game as we are bringing a ton of jamma games if we have room.

I have 75-100 marquees to sell
If I have room a bunch of jamma boards all personally tested working by me.

next year I plan on packing up a ton of extra arcade parts to sell. If you need something specific let me know and I will check to see if i have it and then can bring it. I plan on have a KLOV social in july or august. I have about 35 19" semi/nonworking monitors to sell, and about 5-7 25"-27" monitors.

I am not leaving the hobby I just have a huge surplus of arcade parts from my closed store.
