Midway Sportsman Em Arcade Shooting Game price check

Saw one on eBay not too far from me guy is selling $175 nw. Does anyone know working what it might be worth in working condition?
Thanks

I saw that posting. It's pretty rough (bad paint job on the front of the cab) from what I can see, and by the description it has some mechanical issues. Given the condition, I'd say $100 or so would be safe. They only posted one photo, so it's hard to tell what kind of condition the rest of the game is in.

Good luck, post some pics if you get it.

Sorry, realized I didn't answer your original question. Condition is everything, but if you got it 100% working I think you could get $300 for it, more if you do some cosmetics.

I would never buy one reconditioned fixing them is the fun part, Ok maybe not always fun but a good challange to say the least. I'd say if I could restore it and sell it for $700 or above I'd buy it. But sounds like its not worth the challange. I'm kinda new to this but I love when people on Craigslist or eBay say 'currently not working but it's only doing this or that probbably a very easy fix',(especially pinball games) Easy fix my ass! Nothing on these EM games are easy. I can troubleshoot and fix up to five or seven air conditioners or furnaces on some good days. These things can take up to a month or more working out all the bugs.

The Midway Sportsman is still for sale on the Bay with 14 hours left. It does look like a pretty cool game from the You Tube Vids. A mix of late EM and early Solid State. I now live by the rule after several "restored" purchases that every EM needs work. That never stops because they all need maintnanced to continue to work properly.

To this day my Skee still needs adjusted as my frame stepper unit has a mind of it's own...however well worth the investment of time for the fun factor.

If your talking about this unit. I believe that $175.00 is a reasonable price for the Sportsman itself to restore. If your not able to pick up freight is expensive. I prefer to pick up my games. I enjoy the road trip. The other pics for this game show the insides to be clean too. Meaning not flooded in water. Even with the bad paint job near the coin door that's minimal in my eyes. It looks like most of the original artwork on the front is intact from the one picture available.

As far as the sell price I paid in the $700.00 range for my Chicago Coin Twin Riffle. It wasn't in perfect condition. It had been restored cabinet/mechanically. Furthermore I picked it up two minutes from where I was working at the time in Cleveland, Ohio. I've invested in a spring or two, and a few blacklight bulbs at Home Depot.

Good luck with your decision...

$175 is a good price for a complete rifle game, assuming it's not a basket case inside from rust (water). My first rifle game had inside rust that I wasn't expecting.
If you are looking to flip it I doubt you will make a lot of $ given the time you might put in it, but if you planned to keep it it's worth the asking price.
The additional pics that the seller added look pretty good, and the video makes it appear it's close to fully working.
If it were closer to me I would get it, but then again I buy them to keep!
Good luck, auction ends soon.
