Looking for a link to the Midway Space Invaders manual...

CrazyKong has Taito's, but that really doesn't help me with much of anything...

I'm just going to have to dig through everything... I just need to know the value for the volume pot so I can put a new one on order.

BrentRadio doesn't seem to have the Midway manual either... the Taito version is all over the place, but the Midway version is near impossible to find.

I'll have to sift through the stuff at xmission. Thank you.

it is strange why the Midway version is so elusive
I picked one up on the bay for less than a 10spot about a year ago
I might just have to scan it and get that uploaded

That would be awesome if you did.

I can't imagine I'm the only one looking for the manual.

You aren't :D

According to this it's a 50k pot... not sure if that's what you're looking for or not, there's more troubleshooting there too...

Also, Alex Yeckley @electronforge is the expert of all things Space Invaders...
Lots of info over on www.elektronforge.com (he also pops in here from time to time)
HudsonArcade/Mark Spaeth as well, but he may not answer any PM's for a while...

Mark actually helped me get the thing up and running a little. I have some minor graphics issues (screen stretches on the right side), but I'm more interested in the getting the sound fixed for right now. I have good explosion sound, but everything else is weak... I find it hard to believe that all other LM3900's and 556's have gone bad minus that one... but I'm willing to try anything out right about now... the game just isn't the same without the *thud thud thud* sounds when the critters are moving.

Thanks for the links, I've already read through all of them, but I appreciate it anyways. :)

Scucci (and if anyone knows BrentRadio's email addy) - I scanned my SI manual yesterday, shoot me a pm with your email addy and I'll email you a copy.
