I just noticed my service switch in my Tron is bad..or badly wired...

It's a slide switch that is inside the coin door...

I noticed that is doesn't slip into service mode well and will sometimes switch out of it...

Upon inspection I noticed the back of the switch has 3 legs and only 2 are soldered to wires...

I assume this is an SPST switch..shouldn't the 3rd leg be attached to something?

What is the recommended approach to replacing these? (drill out rivets and buy another switch?)

Thanks all!!

Its a Single Pole Double throw switch - although only being used as a SPST, so only 2 legs are connected. Unless you want to replace it for being flaky, its fine the way it is, and I wouldn't bother with it unless you use service mode often.

If it's flaky on one side, you could move the outer wire to the empty leg and then it'll work in the other position...
