Traded two project pins for a fully working SAMI by midway. Game is freakin' huge at almost 74" tall and 36" deep! I worked out a pickup after my run to Brett's for empty cabs.

That's two EM's this week, I'm a happy camper.

Congrats! EM games are very cool if you have the space for them. Your SAMI looks to be in very fine shape!

Enjoy!

(EM collector as well...when I can find 'em)

The SAMI is in very nice shape. Comes with repro film, original diorama and a custom one, plus a spare backdrop. The guy who had it before me did "restore" the front and white on the sides. He's an artist and used a brush...

It looks good and works, so into the gameroom it goes. Somehow.

Awesome! I love the artwork on that machine. (In fact, I like the artwork on all EM games!)

Just a few questions: How heavy is the cabinet? I realize that it is massive in size, but since it doesn't have a monitor I would figure it would weigh a lot less. How does it compare to a video arcade machine in weight?

I am asking this because I would love to get an EM like that some day, but it is very difficult for me to move heavy cabinets up the stairs in my house.

It is heavy! TRON, Spy Hunter or Sea Wolf heavy. Plus its big and a little unbalanced making it that much more fun to move around. It may not have a monitor but there is a ton of ply/particle board making up the cabinet plus all the motors and mechanical parts add weight.

if anything a em weighs more, they used real wood for everything, plus all the mechanicals, gears, coils etc... if im not mistaken my woodrail pin weighs more than my dmd pin

Wicked cool game S.A.M.I. I just grabbed one myself and can't wait for it to get here. It's been along time since I've played one.
