You may be SOL phet, everybody I've talked to that carries this shit gets it precut for a standard cabinet which of course is less than 24" Outwater can get you some but it's gonna cost you 5 G''s for the run.

Sometimes I wish you were dead. Nah not really, but would it hurt you to open your mouth and blow sunshine up my ass once in a while?

mikes arcade and twisted quarter sell them, but they're 23" and 2x the price of arcadeshop. Can arcadeshop cut it to size for the bigger rampage cabinet?

I'm pretty sure the 28" size is also used for Demolition Derby 4-players; had the same issue when I was looking for kick plates for mine.

Omega Race uses these too, and unfortunately, it's slightly larger than the typical Midway game. I've been searching for a source for these for a while with no luck. They have to be available somewhere.

Does it look like the molding used on Ms. Pac and Galaga (that ArcadeShop sells)? I cannot remember what was on my Ms. Pac when I first bought it but was it more pliable like PVC or Rubber?

I'm really surprised that Steve and Mike would of had this cut to size at the manufacture. But if they did it "is" possible to have this reproduced. We could have it produced in PVC like I used for the nintendo molding. Would this be similar material or too rubbery?

Tooling is about $500 and minimum order is 1000 feet (12,000 inches)... So, if I sold this in strips of 30" that's like 400 pieces which seems like enough kickplate molding for the next 30 years!

If someone has a piece the do not need back with the correct profile I will be more than happy to send it to my manufacture to get pricing and for them to look over the material. I cannot promise anything at this time though. But, if it's true the 4 player Demo Derby needs this molding then I'll have more interest in making this happen seeing I'll need this soon.

Anyone have a closeup photo of the molding?

Yeah and if its the same patern as say the other midway uprights just a different length
are the orginals more rubber like?
Ive got a couple from AS and theyre more of a hard plastic.
not sure if the pattern is correct never really compared them

but Id be up for at least 10 if the price was right bob ;)

i bought one of these for my mspac from twistedquarter. i wasnt real happy with the quality. the plastic was a lil bent and warped, didnt seem anything like the originals :(

Bump... Can anyone confirm that they all used the same style rubber/plastic kick plate on all the games from Midway? I'm hoping I'll have an original piece on my demo derby to compare to my Ms. Pac to check out the pattern. Just wondering if there is enough interest to at least get pricing.

I would think so, and if not, who cares? Make it all the same. Cut it to length. Done.

[sigh] so this thread died almost two years ago :(

I would be in for 4 or 5 of those
