Midway mini Pump Shotguns, How to convert a sammy pcb to a carnevil pcb

I had a bunch of the mini pump shotguns for sammy games and carnevil games and decided to figure out how to convert them to work in a carnevil. The good news is that the sammy boards are a modified carnevil board. All you need to do is remove/undo the obvious modifications to the pcb and swap out one resistor. Here is a video:

Cool mod. I like Carnevil.

Between the mini carnevil shotguns and the longer sammy shotguns with stock; which 'feel' do you prefer when handling/cycling/etc? independent of any gameplay

These mods are for the mini pump sammy guns, which are externally identical to carnevil mini guns. The pcb inside has minor differences as does the wiring harness as outlined in the video.

I don't know if you can use a full length sammy gun, I dont know what they have for a pcb.

Ah, gottcha, thanks for clarifying. Didn't realize sammy made mini stock-less ones also.

Here is a pic of the pile trying to get as many working carnevil guns. Half of the parts started out as sammy guns - the molds are identical to carnevil.
