First time I have ever had one of these and I am struggling to find any tech info at all, where is it all ?
There is nothing wrong with my machine aside from the calibration for the touch screen does not seem to save, some of the 12 red squares are always off.
Cheers guys.

Are you sure you don't mean a Midway TOUCHMASTER 7000? Have you checked the board to see if the battery was good?

There isn't much out there for the 7000, but the 8000 and Infinity stuff on arcarc.xmission.com can be helpful....

Yes thats touchmaster, not megatouch. I dont think there is a battery on these, they use NVram...a DS1225 if I remember right.
There should be a button around the coin box area that will get you into test mode where you can calibrate the screen. Is this a bartop model? If so I can post a pic of mine.

Yep, I am getting my Merit and Midway mixed up.
It was a Merit something made in 1995 but I think the Midway was an update kit, correct ?
I have been through the calibration both with the button and in the test sequence and it does not seem to change after exiting.
It is a bar top model and does have one of those memory chip with battery built in.

You probably have a bad nvram. I had one that was having issues and when I pulled the nvram I found one of the legs had bad corrosion on it. I replaced the NVram and its been good to go since.
I have these if you need one, let me know if its a 1220 or a 1225. Im thinking 1225 but check to be sure.

I did not know about arcarc.xmission.com, thanks for pointing it out to me.
The other manuals will help...I think I might be doing the calibration wrong. Will have another go later.
