Midway infinity hd was bad. I installed the new copy buy can't get past "f1 to continue"
If I press f1 i can go into the game and I can get into the bios settings with f2 during the very first boot sequence. I don't know what the bios settings should be. I need the bios settings that would let the game come up without "press f1 to continue"

You should see something under CMOS settings or Power settings that you can set to "return to previous state" in the event of loss of power. That means it boots automatically when you turn it on.

Of course, this is assuming you don't have a dead battery on the CPU. If you do, then you're not saving your settings when you exit, and the next time you turn it on it's asking for you to do it again...

midway infinity boot failure

I pulled the battery to check now I can't get the game. after press f1 then "insert diskett" which I don't have so now what should or could I do?

Can you get into the CMOS settings? If so, change the boot order to do the HD first, then set date and time, save your changes, and reboot...

midway infinity boot failure

I was able to get into setup mode before I pulled the battery. However I now cannot enter setup mode and only message is "f1 to continue" followed by "insert diskett then press any key to continue"

update on midway touchmaster infinity bios

after about a year another touchmaster came thru the shop and we got the bios settings off the working game. We used those settings on the broken game and now the game works!!
its about three pages of hand written info and I haven't posted it but I could fax my poop sheet to someone in need of these settings [email protected]
