Here is a project game for someone. I plugged it in and the monitor came up but that is all that happened. Game is complete minus back door Bottom of cab is very nice. I am going to start at $125 and you can talk me down from there. Pretty rare game.

Monitor

Sorry not trying to dick you around, it's a good price I'm trying to work out the $ in my budget.

Do you know how well it works? And is it composite and compatible with Boot Hill? Is there a lot of burn-in?

Slight burn. It powers up but the board does not so I cant say on the working condition. Screen does glow like a working monitor with no vidio signal. No idea if it works for Boot Hill. I actually assumed you knew that.

I guess as long as the tube is not cracked or hopelessly burned everything else is fixable. I guess the big thing about it being compatible would be that the monitor has a composite input, although I'm pretty sure it does as the chassis looks about the same as Boot Hill's. Aside from the power, how many wires are going into it?

I've thrown the question out to the rest of KLOV in the general section, if its compatible I'll go for it, I've got a laptop repair job that should finance things.

Monitor

The pictures in this thread show a black & white Motorola M series.

Edward

I agree. it looks very similar to an Atari football monitor. In the Vaps listing it shows screen shots for both black and white as well as a color version of the game. The glow looks like a BW monitor.

It looks like the Extra Bases monitor has been saved from my evil clutches :D so somebody grab this puppy and restore it! And post pictures when you do it, it's pretty rare! :)

I would have taken it by now if my wife hadn't put an injunction on my arcade collecting under penalty of castration.

You and JJ are killing me.....it's like cheap crack for a junkie!

Edward, that's like calling the kettle black. If you would have told me to "go away and run from this hobby it will consume you", I wouldn't be in the mess I am in now. I guess we could be addicted to somethin worse. Like CRACK!!!!! I am content with my addictions. I have a very addictive personality, so I am glad it has been channeled to something I enjoy and is not illegal. LOL

I warn people about that all the time. This started as a hobby for me 20 years ago. I had a promising career as a Computer Engineer and software architect. Now I am stuck selling video games and parts for the rest of my life probably because I got addicted to this hobby.

I say this partly tongue in cheek. I could always call in Super Auctions (provided Rob isn't in prison yet and still has a valid auctioneers license) and resume my life. But I like doing this too much. And actually the economy will probably put me out of business before long. Then I can simplify my life........
