Midway Coin door mechs

Actually, NO. They use certain mechs.

The door was originally designed and made by Coin Mechanisms, Inc. (a.k.a. Coin Mech) and was originally supplied with Coin Mech brand coin acceptors. Coin Mech's acceptors work 100% perfectly in these doors.

You can use their competitor Coin Acceptors, Inc (a.k.a. Coinco) perfectly fine.

Coin Controls (which are metric) do not fit and don't have all the holes on the backside in the right places to clear the anti-penny flip devices.

I _think_ Happ Controls brand will work, but I've never tried them.

IMONEX (black plastic) do not fit.

VENDALL (red metal) which are made in Canada don't work. You likely won't find these as they were discontinued over 20 years ago. They are pure junk anyway.

Yeah, the Happ mechs work.

Great. Good to know.

I was able to transfer over some coin mech brand ones from another game. After a bit of tinkering, they work great.

Does anyone know if thisoldgame.com still makes the midway plaques? I can't seem to find it on there site.
