I don't think Rich mentioned it here, but if you follow him on Twitter you might have seen that he has his Midway Coin Door Inserts in stock again, both styles. I ordered a few pairs of the newer style and got them yesterday, so snapped a few pics to show how they compare to the originals.
They come individually packaged, with protective paper over the front:

Pros:
- Good replacement if yours are scratched, faded or missing
- Same thickness as the originals, so perfect fit for the windows
Cons:
- Not an exact match to the original font
- Alignment between the two inserts was off - one has the text slightly higher than the other. Noticeable to me when they are installed and viewed at eye level, but probably not noticeable when you are standing a few feet away.
