I ordered these clips from Arcade Shop for a Midway cocktail and they're too tall to adequately secure the glass. What's going on here? Is the glass supposed to be thicker? I can't imagine it being THAT thick. But I've never had a cocktail machine before, so I'm not sure. Very frustrating when I went to close up this machine.

See attached...

Thanks!

You received the new model, this version is meant to hold the glass and a beer coaster in place.

I can't see any way that is an issue with the thickness of the glass. I could see maybe a bezel or something being missing possibly being the issue, but not the thickness of the glass. Looks like the wrong clips to me.

Were all Midway cocktails the same size? What game is this being put on?

The wood part of the tabletop is supposed to be 1". Yours looks like it's only 3/4." Just put some 1/4" spacers underneath, where the screws hold the clips on.

That's strange that they didn't list there are 2 sizes of wood tops on these Midway cocktails. Apparently I need 1" total 3/4" cab and 1/4" glass and this clip is 1 1/4". Also these clips have 2 screw holes and the cabinet originally only used one. I sent them an email with the picture and they didn't even get back to me. Maybe I will hear from them tomorrow. Thanks for clearing this up!

Might be the difference between certain types of Midway cocktails. Just looked at my dedicated Pacman cocktail and it has the 1 1/4" clips on it and its fine. Got a 1" top and 1/4" for glass. Maybe the Ms Pac/Galaga, etc.. cocktail used a 3/4" top since all the glass is the same??

I have ordered these many times from Arcadeshop. The only problem with them is that their supplier makes them with the angle slightly off. All you need to do is wrap a cloth around the bottom part with the mounting holes (to keep it from getting scratched), grab that bottom piece with a pair of pliers (to hold it steady), and then take your hand and apply a little pressure to the side (vertical) piece to bend it slightly towards the holes. This will give it the proper angle, and it will fit nice and tight when you install it, albeit with a tiny gap at the very bottom between the metal and the wood of the cab. But most people will never notice it......

I will try that. I'm pretty frustrated they didn't have the courtesy to email me back about the problem. This is the first time I've had a problem with anything I've got there though.
