I am in need of replacing a Seattle board for a Carnevil game.

I have done some reading and found they come in 144MHz/150MHz/192MHz/200MHz speeds. http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=618

How do I identify what speed the board is? Some internet threads said the one in the system16 picture was 133mhz board. (Even though that speed was not even listed.)

Mine got physically damaged in shipping, so I never plugged it in.

Edit: it is rumored that carnevil needs a 200MHz board.

Carnevil used a 150MHz board according to the system16 page you referenced and it's MAME driver. If the board is that damaged you can probably remove the heatsink and check the chip directly. It looks like you'll be fine with any Seattle board.

I am not 100% sure but I think the only labels I have seen are the 200mhz for hyperdrive, vapor trx and mace. there is a small chip below the rom that says the speed.

I think all the others are 150mhz.

I would say find a blitz board and swap away and I think your ok..

as for carneivl being 200mhz, I can check my pcb..
