have a good working apollo moonshot.no issues except no sound from the sound card.just a crackling sound out of the speaker as the spaceship motor turns.i have the schematic.but it only shows the sound board not a breakdown of the parts on the board.would like to rebuild this.if anyone has a parts list or a picture with some part numbers.it would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of a Apollo Moonshot. What kind of EM game is it? Do you have any pics you can post?

Sounds cool!
Tom

Sorry, I can't help...I've never seen or heard of this one. Hum, is it a shooting rifle game?

midway rifle arcade game from 1969.sorry i have no idea how to do pix.but you can do a google search if you wanna see what it looks like.

Chicago Coin Apollo Moon Shot Rifle gun game

Do you still have this game? Don't know why you were calling it a Midway game, because Chicago Coin made Apollo Moon Shot with an electronic sound board.
If you still have the game please take good photos of the front and back of the sound card and also how it is installed in the game. With good pictures I'm sure I can build one of these sound cards and then we will both have ones that work.

Thanks,

chicago coin apollo moonshoot

good point.could be because im working on a stunt pilot and a flying saucer.kinda had midway on the brain??anyway of course its chicago coin.and i could email you a few pix(need your email)truth is i have no idea what sounds this thing makes.my guess is it aint much.but i would like to hear it.anyway like i said the schematic is no help only shows the card no part numbers.so its kinda useless.

will is more than welcome to the pictures and any other help i can offer.and i would appreciate his help.i just didn't want him wasting his time or money on a schematic...schematic is useless as far as rebuilding the sound board on this machine..

Start with the obvious..its a game from the 70s..by now ALL the capacitors are due to be replaced. Next check for cold solder joints on ALL components.
