Hi;
I have a Midway 80-901 linear p/s with the edge connector as opposed to the Molex connector and cannot locate the schems for the P/S.

It appears to be very similar to the 80-904 (Molex connector version) with the exception of the connector. I compared the schems of the 904 to the layout of the 901 and the majority of the components are the same, although laid out differently.

The one issue is the diodes near the edge connector, I attached a couple of pics to show exactly what I am looking for. I went through about 20 Midway manuals and cannot find a parts listing, picture or schem for the 901.

Out of the 11 diodes, I know what the middle 7 are but do not know what the first and last two are. The large black triangle shaped diodes are 1000v 2A but are they quick, fast/very fast?? And the first 2 appear to be 1N4004 but I would like to make sure.....

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

You won't find high speed diodes in analog supplies... they are used in high frequency switching power supplies.

Just use one that has a higher PIV (Peak Inverse Voltage) rating of about 2x the circuit's voltage and with enough current capability and you'll be fine.

I'm going to throw in 2- 1000v 3A and that way I know that I will be fine!
Other than the 2 1N5624's, the rest were 1N4004 and I'll swap them with 1N4007 just because I have them.

Thanks again
Jeff
