Midway 12-in-1 games are selling for $200-$500 on eBay

Seriously?

The average joe believes these are commercial quality, or at least just as enjoyable as an actual machine. I have the countertop model and the only reason I have it is because it was $50. If someone wants to quadruple my money and avoid eBay then bring it on :D

A coworker bought a used countertop model for him and his kids - they aren't huge arcade fans, but really love it. For the Average Joe they seem ok - just like a 60-in-1. His only complaint is he wishes the joysticks were better so he's asked me if they can be replaced.

They can. I've done it before on another project. However the wires are really thin and break easily. If you use spade terminals be prepared to fold over stripped ends just to make a decent connection.

I got one for $25 at a yard sale two years ago. The cabinet is so poorly made. I believe they were released at Target some years ago. The kids play it enough that I've got my $25 worth. Since then I have the bug. I picked up a single PC 10 with good games for $100.xmen COA $30.pac man $100.gauntlet 4 player $50. The Craigslist markets been good in southern Cali this year. I'm up to 10 arcades at present and it started with the crummy little $25 cab and its my wife's fav so it's not going anywhere.
