Were ALL the mid 80's Capcom games conversions ?

1942 , Commando , Gunsmoke .......

I'm pretty sure Ghosts n' Goblins was dedicated. Maybe Commando as mentioned.

It's an odd time period as a lot of these games were distributed by Romstar and Data East as well. Then going into the late 80s, Capcom started using Dynamo cabs to house all their games.

I was more interested in the tron cab with the RED control?! Never seen that before. Am I just completely out of touch, or is that legit? Also, back on topic, I believe that Commando, at least, did come dedicated at one point. 1942 was conversion only, I'm pretty sure. 1943 was dedicated in a standard 19" dynamo cab, that was 1987. Must have been around the time Capcom started using Dynamo cabs.

My Commando is in a generic Data East cabinet, just like my Karate Champ. I don't think either one is a conversion.

Captain Commando had a dedicated cabinet. It came in a Capcom Big Blue. I know because I have one that I turned into a Street Fighter Champion.

Capcom USA always had cab vendors. They went through three of them as far as I know...

Wow brutal. No that looks like a Satan's Hollow joystick. GGG.com sells the really nice refurb blue tron joysticks. They look really nice.
