Visiting some family up here in Caro and Cass City. Looking for an arcade to kill some time. I saw Pinball Pete's in Ann Arbor and East Lansing. I'm equidistant from them, so is there a preference to which is better? Anything in Flint? Help a brother out.

Flint has a few spots. There's a few to play at retro replay on Saginaw st, and not too far from there is play land. But they are only open on the weekends I believe. They have an ok selection of games. Other than that, there are a few around the Detroit and Ann Arbor area

Honestly, there's not much in Michigan besides Pinball Pete's and these two:

Oh yeah a few that are pretty uncommon (inside bars, bowling alleys, etc):

Premier Lanes ( http://www.thepremiercomplex.com/ )

Terry's Terrace ( http://terrystime.com/ )

M-Brew ( http://m-brew.net/ )

a monthly arcade extravaganza, hosted by OffWorld, at random places announced via FaceBook events... ( http://www.offworldarcade.com/ )

^ Offworld since this post has moved above Checker bar and is open all day all night,
24/7/365... lol probably not that much, but it's open way more then once a month! :) Oh, and
the pizza is to DIE for! It's that good. It's what put DETROIT PIZZA on the map folks! A++++

Terry's Terrace restaurant/bar is quite a surprise. Tons of classics and popular pinball's in a dedicated
room with ye olde Rowe quarter machines nearby! It's metro-Detroit's best kept secret!

I think M-Brew got all their games yanked out - not sure what happened since.

Premier Lanes consists of 90% pinball. But I haven't visited there in over 1-2 years.

Some new places popped up:

Ready Player One : https://www.rpodetroit.com/
- haven't been to this one yet, but many claim it's LCD/LED heaven there. Bro city.

Barcade Detroit (Coming soon in 2019!)

While this is specific for pinball, it gives you an idea of how many games each place has, or at least what has been reported.

Thegleek already listed the top spots anyway between Marvin's & The Arcade. Agreed that if you are going to be in town, got to stop into Marvin's.

Play Land in Flint shut down this past summer, FYI. They had a sale this summer and I bought my MKII cab and some spare wooden skeeballs from them. There is a barcade going in Downtown Flint soon.

I personally like The Arcade in Brighton, especially since it's fairly close to where I live. They had quite a few pins the last time I was there.

I'm still curious about M-Brew. The pinball map lists 14 pinball games at their location,
and many are brand new (Dead Pool, Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast), so I'm just
going to assume they are open. Why is their website down and webmaster suck so bad for?

^ comes up "pageok" - that's it. nice professional way to market yourselves. SMH

I live in Lansing. People around here get excited over Pinball Petes. Personally, I think it's kinda meh. I mean it's the best (only) arcade around. Maybe I'm being unfair because I compare it to the arcades I went to in the 80's and 90's.

A few of my friends say it's worth the trip to The Arcade in Brighton. It's probably about an hour south of Flint.

The do not have visitor-friendly hours -- weekends-only I believe, but this is the guy that bought up the majority of Todd Tuckey's cabaret collection.
