Anyone using these? I purchased one and love it. I do have the quest+ subscription so if I post referral codes of games i have already purchasdd, someone can get use it and get 25 percent off that same game. I guess when the code is used I get a $5 store credit too which is a win win scenario. If there is any interest just post here and ill start posing some referral codes for games I buy!

I have the first quest.
In general we have had some fun with it, but i still find it as a niche product.
Kinda like Jetski's and hot tubs, they are cool, but much better when someone else paid for it.

I was also really pissed off when i found out that games that you purchase as a standalone and for a pc connection aren't one in the same, you only own one version and still have to buy the other.

If it wasn't for Richies Walk the Plank it probably would never come out of the storage closet.

Not thrilled either that the new MLB home run derby doesn't work on my model.
Which i guess happens, but it's not enough to get me to buy a newer one.

I gotcha. The quest 3 is considerably better than the first. I was pretty impressed. The picture quality is quite nice. I think they did a great job with this version. I hear you on the programs though. That's another reason i figured if post discount codes of stuff I bought of anyone was interested.

Also unsure if the first quest does this(quest 3 is my first model) but on the quest 3 you hook it up to your computer to play vr games on it. You dont have to buy the standalone version that way.

I'll double check next time we have it out, but i had purchased the kids the game where the witch flies the broom through the rings, like harry potter.
Then i went to try it on pc connected to the headset to see how much better it was and it wanted me to buy it again. When i checked online, i wasn't the only one complaining about it. But that is a couple years back at this point.

I never really had a quality problem with it or even felt the need to have more features. Just never really played anything that i felt like i couldn't get enough of or I had to come back for more.

If you play or own richie's walk the plank, try the control panel hack in the elevator (better yet, give it to your wife or someone you know and tell them to do it) and watch what happens. We usually cast it to our TV so i can guide the kids on what to do.
Don't look it up first. Just do it. There is a door in the elevator that says do not touch (or something like that).
The reactions are usually priceless.
You can even watch RWTP fails on youtube, typically they are hilarious.
