I've been polishing the playfield on my JP, taking it easy to try and not cause any problems. However, I noticed a spot over the edge of an insert where it appears that the paint and clear coat is delaminating from the plastic insert. I used a pin to get some super glue under the flap to try and secure it and keep it from further delaminating. However I now have a bump where this occurred. So I'm looking for tips/advice. Did I do the right thing? Can I keep this problem from getting worse? Leave it alone and hope for the best?

You can just very carefully cut around the insert using a zacto knife and remove the delam part. Use a piece of cold laminating sheet (clear, sticky back, used for laminating documents, purchase from local office supply store). trace out the cut out piece of mylar you removed and replace it in the insert hole. Should mostly match and look better that the delam part....

It is just slight delamination along the edge, so I don't think total replacement is warranted at this point. I just need to secure it and keep it from getting worse.

With the method you are describing, are you separating the clear coat from the artwork? The insert has lettering over it as it is for one of the modes.
