merit ion mother board cap kit? anyone tried this?

just trying to figure out if i should try this or just send it out. is it more of a pain or what. i have a desoldering station and a digital iron but thought i would ask before i mess something up. thanks for any advise!
 
Nope we just bought the board off fee bay for 30 shipped. My son just did a search with the mother board model number until he found a match,and yes you must look at the pics of the board to make sure look identical as well.Ed

man if i could find an ion board for 30 shipped i would be all over that! seems all the ones i have found are in the $300 range. the cap kit is $17 but this board has tiny traces. nothing like a monitor chassis, thats for sure!! i saw a video online of how they replace these caps. they have a machine that bubbles up solder on the back of the board and you just lift the caps out and stick the new one in and your off to the next one! i dont know that this is worth $100 but i dont want to ruin the $300 board. thanks again for the help!!
