So I'm trying to get my Megatouch in its rightful place but its not looking too good. Its a Megatouch XL upright. Seems the touch panel is not calibrated on the right edge. If you drag your finger in a horizontal line across the center of the screen, the target moves as it approaches the right edge. Any ideas?

Kinda dissapointed - was hoping it was just the monitor that needed fixed.

EDIT - I did check all the grounds and everything looked fine.

I'm going to say-bad touch screen. There is no "fix" other than replacing it.

If you are desperate you might try this first-

1. Remove the touchscreen from the tube. Be careful, they are fragile around the edges. And try and save the tape. Use a razor to seperate the double sided tape. (buy new tape to replace it.)
2. Clean the piss out off the tube and inside of the touch screen with alcohol. Dirt between the two can cause problems. Get all the old double sided tape off- be carefull!
3. Put the new double sided tape on the tube and make certain you leave no air gaps to allow dirt to re-enter the space between the tube and the touchscreen.
4. Put the touchscreen back on and tape the edges shut. Over lap onto the top of the touch screen just enough that the game bezel will not come into direct contact with the touch screen- that also causes problems.
5. Cross your fingers, say a prayer, sacrifice a chicken and plead with the gods...

Looks like the touchscreen is probably bad - I can see rub marks where the metal bezel touched it. When i brought it home the bezel was rattling while the unit was laying on its back, so the bezel probably damaged the touch panel.

Crap.
