I have one of these Megatouch standup machines it is the Megatouch 4. The monitor is CGA I believe. The game uses a single board and a Switching power supply no hard drive and no CD.

It has a Connector on the monitor that is labeled:
R
G
B
E
VS
HS

Does anyone know what resolutions that this type of monitor can support? Is it really limited to 640x200 which is the CGA standard?

I am wondering if I need to pull the monitor and replace it with another touchscreen CRT or an LCD that I have.

Yep Megatouch 4 would be a CGA monitor. You can upgrade the board up to Megatouch 7. Is there something wrong with it that you need to replace it? Parts are available for those.

Sorry I should have moved it to technical.

The point is moot now since the monitor broke when a wrench fell on the neck after removing it.

My goal is to not make this machine exclusively a mega-touch. I want to also make it into a stand-up Jukebox/media server. Since a majority of Megatouch machines I have worked on were VGA I was expecting this to be the same.

I was able to put a Standard 17" touchscreen CRT in the cabinet so I will now be able to make it into a Megatouch/Media server - I hope.

Even if using a CGA, you could prob get something like DW Jukebox to work with it. I had this idea in mind with the one I just got but I got the Megatouch board working so I'll keep it an MT :)

I do have an LCD pos computer thats aching to be a juke though :)
