Quick question -

I have 3 older Megatouch units. Both are now Megatouch 5 software.

One of the machines has a label that says it is a Wells Gardner monitor
The label on the other unit says it is a Duckscan monitor.

I was goung to sell one to a friend. Which is more reliable in the long run? Is there one that is better than the other?

Both work fine now, I just don't know how to fix them, so I want to sell them the more reliable unit.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

If they both look good, keep the Wells Gardner. Parts will be more readily available should you ever need them...

If you recap them, they are both reliable.

If they have NOT been recapped, then the Wells would be a little bit better.

Yes, they both look nice. Thanks for the reply.

Ah, that makes sense too. Both were sold as recapped when I bought them. Not sure how I would check, but there do seem to be new components on the monitor boards.

Thank you for the replies, it is appreciated.

Are these bartops or uprights? Ive had 2 upright 19" WG monitors, both had dying tubes. I gave up on one and had the other rejuvinated, works great now. Seems to be a common issue with the uprights.
