Megatouch force 2007 problem

If you were not located in the UK i would have just offered to reinstall the software to your hard drive for you.

But dont bother buying a hard drive. I was just suggesting if you had a spare just to test. Maybe your brother in law has one just to test. Providing it does infact fix your problem, you can go ahead and reinstall on the hard drive you currently have. Just trying to save you some money. I hate seeing people get ripped off by some of the ebay sellers around here.

So if ive got a hard drive, what do i do next? Sorry if i sound stupid but i really don't know a fat lot about computers.

I would have your brother in law look at this thread. I am just going to confuse you more. If you dont believe me, here is my next question. This spare hard drive you have, is it ide or sata?

I have never had any luck with the tornamax keys.
I always have wound up tossing them. I think you would of had*an account set up for it and it would of connected once to activate the game.
I suggest upgrading to a new version of the software. 2007 is a bit old. the keys for 2009 or 2010 I don't think are too over priced. or you can go the not 100% legal*way and get a drive that has been setup not to use a key. you can ask a seller on ebay, they may not mention if they have one in the listing but a simple message may give different results. I did see one in the uk but that is for the older XL megatouch. you would need force.

The latest key I have now is a us 2006, doubt you would want to downgrade a year. anyone have a 2007 key*or newer for this guy?

I am having the same issue with a Force 2010.5. I downloaded the iso from mtmods server and installed it to a new drive (old one bad) and I get the same "machine out of service" msg. I tried all sorts of different configurations in the set-up screen and disabled all the meganet games but still no luck. One interesting thing is that upon exiting the set-up, the home screen shows up briefly before it returns to the "out of service" screen. I noticed at the top it says megatouch premier instead of Force 2010.

what is the letters/numbers on your key? Should say SA3xxx-xx . I am wondering if you either dont have a 2010 key and just thought you did, or if you downloaded the wrong version by mistake.

Usually a fresh install fixes this issue providing you have the correct key for the correct version software.

Isnt premiere an ion model?

I dont think so. I had a 2006 Kidzpace key that booted as Kidzpace with 2006.5 Force software, but with 2006 Force software booted as 2006 Force with Premiere logo at the top of the menu.

I think there are alot of bugs in some versions of software with keys for certain machines that were meant to have their own special software.

SA3579-01. I don't get any invalid key message. It boots all the way up and I can get into the set-up menu and calibrate screens with no issues but when I exit out of those screens, it goes back to the out of service. I might try to re-install it or just watch e-bay for some 2010 disks and purchase those.

Don't buy discs. You definitely have 2010 Force. Let me upload my 2010.5 Force ISO so you can download it and burn it to a DVD. Wont take more then a a few hours, probably havbe a link for you by tommorow afternoon, maybe sooner.

Hi all, sorry I haven't been on for a few days (busy celebrating a 50th birthday). My bro in law will be round later with another hard drive so what do i have to do next please?

Going to save you alot of trouble by installing 2007.5 Force to a hard drive and creating a hard drive image so you can just restore that image to your hard drive. I can shrink the image down to the size of the ISO so it wont take much more bandwith to download , and it will make things alot more easier.

Cool, although I don't know what that means but the bro in law will. Just let me know what needs doing and he will sort it. Many many thanks.

PM sent with link to hard drive image. Let me know when you are done downloading it and i will tell you how to restore it onto that spare hard drive.

Thanks for that, just downloading it now but our internet provider is throttling back our broadband after 4pm so its only downloading at 908kb/s so it may take a little bit of time.
