Hi - picked up a megatouch Im trying to get working. To my understanding the original error I had meant I needed to change the battery. I did this now I am getting the "Check Date and Time Settings"

My issue is I tried to use a usb to ps2 adapter to hook up a keyboard and i cannot get it to respond. I assume I need to do this so I can set date/time.

Any thoughts? Can you not use an adapter to ps2 to connect a keyboard? Any keyboard type thats known working? any info would be great thanks

Old motherboards don't place nice with USB>PS2 adapters. Your best bet is to get an old cheapo PS2 keyboard. I always keep one around (as well as a PATA DVD-ROM drive) for both of my Megatouch games.

Thanks any old PS2 should work? Been thinking about buying a new one some of them are expensive on ebay! Thanks

Yep, any old PS/2 keyboard should work. I grabbed one from MicroCenter for like $8.

You guys know - after changing the battery do I just go in to bios and set the time to get it to boot through?

Set the date and time, and while you're in the BIOS make sure the boot configuration is correct. Save and exit.

Hate to ask but is the correct boot configuration in a manual or something? Thanks

I don't own a MAXX, but just make sure that it's set to boot to the hard drive and that the hard drive is detected.
