I made the mistake of letting my 3 year old play with my megatouch machine. Its a megatouch 6 in the old school cab with a crt monitor. I actually dont know what brand because its locked and i dont have keys yet..

It has an added credit button on the coin plate to credit it.

THe kid kept holding it down making the machine alarm like someome was tring to hack the mech..

now the touchscreen is not calibrated. Everything i try to touch, i have to touch 2" down and 2" right to select what im actually trying to touch if that makes sense.

Is there some recalibration procedure i can do on this?

well i figued it out for now.

I broke the coin door lock and good thing i went there first. Inside was 2 pair of the rear door keys so whoohoo!! and also $.75 in quarters!! almost enough for a pop!!

The screen wouldnt calibrate in calibration mode. it would recognice me hitting the dots but on the test screen with the square box icon the more right id go the worse it would get. At the right top it was fine but silding my finger down the lower i would go the more left the icon would go.. weiredness..

so i went ahead and adjusted the monitor, picture is amazingly better now( its a k7000 btw) I also pulled and reseated the cable that goes from the touchscreen to the daughter boards, and anythng else in there i could grab. THe screen now calibrates and works fine. WOrks for me if it stays working.
