Moving this to here for hopefully some more help -
Hey guys, just picked up a nice toobin with a REALLY sharp looking monitor today. I got it home and first the monitor and the sound would not come on. Then after checking all the connections a few times I finally got everything fired up. I turned it off ran out for a bit and when I tried to turn it on the sound came up but no monitor, after turning on and off again a few times the monitor finally decided to turn on. Any idea what could be causing this problem? When the monitor comes on it is a VERY sharp picture, zero burn, it looks fantastic. The game just travelled 150 miles via van and im sure there were bumps along the way. Any help would be appreciated. the inside of the cab was FILTHY and there is still a lot of caked on dust in there. I did give it a quick shopvac to gut the tumbleweeds out and all the cobwebs.
update -
checked all connections, everything seems solid. Also, if the monitor does not come on when I flip the switch it does not come on at all. I switch the power off then turn it back on, if the monitor is going to come on it will come on when I flip the swich back on. There is no delayed picture, either it fires or it doesnt. I do hear a slight crackle when the the game is powered off coming from the monitor, nothing crazy but it is def there...
any suggestions?
Could I need a new cap kit or flyback? This is my first time dealing with this sort of problem.
